A Bit of the World

This collection of several thousand photographs was made – with a couple of exceptions – on an ordinary mobile, an i-Phone or an Android. This helped to reduce the barrier between the subject and me, but also meant the loss of many photographs through soft focus, etc. Sometimes – especially in India – the light was so bright that I often had to guess the framing, since I couldn’t see the image on the tiny screen. Sometimes I felt that I was seeing the picture for the first time on my computer screen later.
